Anthony and Tyreese were blessed with two beautiful daughters N’Daja Lyndze and Ayana Jazmyn. Ayana’s untimely death by gun violence in March 2017, is the most devastating thing that Anthony and his wife has had to endure. Despite the tragic and untimely loss of Ayana, Anthony continued to serve the community to steer young adults from living a life of crime. Having lived a life of public service and ministry, and triumphing over the tragedy of losing Ayana, Anthony and Tyreese co-founded The Ayana J. McAllister Legacy Foundation, a non-profit organization located in Prince Georges County Maryland, and whose mission is to deliberately engage communities of color, disproportionately impacted by gun violence through advocacy and education strategies.
In May of 2016, Ayana graduated from Largo, High School in Upper Marlboro, MD. She enjoyed the company of many friends as her easy-going spirit gained her popularity. In addition to playing basketball, Ayana was actively involved in JROTC, church and community activism. In her youth, Ayana was involved in many organizations including Girl Scouts, Girls of Character, Delta GEMS., Omega Psi Phi’s Project Enrich, and Galilee’s S.T.A.R.S. Mentoring Program and African Genesis. She also regularly participated alongside her father, in several programs sponsored by the Gamma Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. at Shepherd’s Cove where she served breakfast to battered women and their children.
Additionally, Anthony and his wife Tyreese are the owners of Clinical and Forensic Associates, a counseling and consulting firm located in Prince Georges County, Maryland.
